Got to hand it to you man, you're good.

You hide yourself away until I'm in a position so I can't reply then
make sure you sway the membership with your own personal viewpoint.
Nice move cutting me out of Social and Welcome. Did you remember
Forum as well? Didn't check that one. Still I was expecting it. Sure
your not in politics?

(See you're already back on about Moongate. God you do love the sound
of your own voice.)

As for not liking you. Never really thought about it, but I seriously
doubt we could ever be friends. To me you're just a message on a
forum, words processed through thought. So it's what your thoughts
represent I don't like. The epitome of everything that is bad in
today's world. Manipulation, ego, prejudice, injustice, hypocrisy and
sheer narrow minded ignorance. Everything that has brought this
planet to the brink of its own destruction. So as far as I'm
concerned while your kind exists there will never be any future, not
after any pole shift, not ever. (But then who knows if we're very
lucky and the 12th ever does turn up it'll take most of your kind
with it. Either way it won't matter to me.)

It's also how you influence others that bothers me. So when you alter
the truth to suit your needs or jump down the throat of another
member spouting and laying down the word and law of the Lord God Jan
I find myself instantly reacting in the only way I can. Unfortunately
I can't help it, its a knee jerk reaction. So if that's considered
negative or personal then the fault I'm sorry to say is all yours.
(But then others have always been more important, and long before I
even knew what STO meant, which I guess would make me a bleeding
heart, but so what. Better that than a heartless, insensitive
bastard.)

You should listen more to Clipper you could learn a lot from him, but
as you consider yourself already a master, sadly you'll never know
the joy of the experience.

(BTW Clipper, thanks mate for answering my query. Do you ever miss
the way it used to be? Those were the days.)

TT is TT. It belongs to the membership. Without them there would be
no groups. Something I think even Nancy forgets sometimes. Everything
on Troubled Times was put there by the people who have at one time or
another frequented this site. Beside that are and were invisible
individuals that contributed other, yet just as invaluable services.
Like Clipper who's thankless job has been keeping this place on an
even keel for God knows how long. Same too for the guardians, those
that try their best to help those lost or in need of assistance. They
were not assigned. They were never asked. They did so simply because
they wished to help in the only way they can. That was the TT and
that's how it should be today.

Still if the membership is content to allow you free reign, decide on
the topics, and rule by your law, then who am I to rock the boat?
After all why should the groups be any different than those of the
outside world. They allow others to think and decide on their behalf
so why not keep it the same in here. Life's simpler that way, allows
them to concentrate on the more important stuff. (But then, just what
is the more important stuff?)

So if some poor bastard's getting the stuffing knocked out of them,
ridiculed, harassed or thrown off the site its obvious they're done
something wrong. Our chosen leaders are never wrong, (but then who
did choose them, did you?) Anyhow they know what's best. So let them
get on with it, no questions asked. Better to keep our eyes down, not
get involved during the damn annoying distraction. What we can't see
and don't know will neither bother or hurt us. (Snag is that's
exactly what the German people must have been thinking after the
Nazi's took power. But of course this is no comparison.)

When I read Zetatalk and the message of the STO it made me cry. At
last I'd found what my heart wished to sing. A place where everyone
cares more for others than they do themselves. What a wonderful
ideal. And for a short while I found it here on these groups. In some
incredible individuals, but you know they've almost gone. Driven
away, the ideal destroyed by the very people who claim to represent
these same words and all under the illusion of urgency and
importance.

How sad we have become when simple courtesy cannot be extended to a
fellow human. How sick when we destroy because of a differing
thought, another point of view. And just how mindless when we force
ideals onto those not wanting our attention. If these are our deeds
during Troubled Times then just what kind of hell awaits us when the
real test comes?

If I didn't know any better I'd say mankind thrived on suffering.
Well something certainly does and feeds off its power. Still that's a
whole different topic.

Thanks John for your vote of confidence, nice to see someone still
understands.

As for you Jan don't bother putting this one on moderation its been
deleted after posting, same goes for my standard address. No one
manipulates me, especially you. So by removing my connections I
effectively remove myself from moderation and thus remove your power.
Good eh? And you needn't worry. You might consider me a negative
influence but I'm not childish enough to become disruptive. (Now that
would be falling straight into your hands.) Still you never will
really know if the next mail is mine will you? Anyhow I'm fairly sure
our paths will cross again, only next time you won't have the upper
hand. So I guess you can chalk this one up as another victory, but
hell its only a game.
