Marware Atlas Kindle Cover
| Overall | Design/Functionality | Quality | Price | Attraction |
|---|---|---|---|---|
The Marware Kindle Atlas Kindle Case takes #1 on our list of 4. The overall design gets 5 stars because it is functional in every way we look at a cover. The elastic strap holds the cover tightly closed both in the closed position, and the “book” position. The Kindle itself is strapped in using 4 different straps in the corners. Speaking of holding it like a book, the back strap (as seen in the picture and the video) makes it very easy to hold the Kindle. The quality of the cover is pretty good, but the structure on the inside feels like some type of cardboard, and isn’t very padded. The microfiber makes it smooth and the leather on the outside is of decent quality too. At $25, it is considerably cheaper than the official Amazon covers, and delivers more so than most of the other covers. The Official Amazon Kindle Leather Cover with Light
| Overall | Design/Functionality | Quality | Price | Attraction |
|---|---|---|---|---|
The official Amazon Kindle Lighted cover is one of the only lighted covers available. The Kindle is held tightly in place by four clasps in the corners (as seen in the video), and it is held very securely. The design is clean, and the inside has a nice smooth microfiber. Also, the back of the case is made of a hard plastic that is unique when compared to the rest of the cases. Also, the light is powered by connectors taking a charge from your Kindle. The price is the only deterrent from us recommending this cover as #1. At $60, it is a bit pricey, but the light makes it a very convenient case. So, if convenience outweighs price, and you plan on using your Kindle a great deal, go with this cover. Check out all four colors by clicking HERE
Amazon Kindle Leather Cover
| Overall | Design/Functionality | Quality | Price | Attraction |
|---|---|---|---|---|
The Amazon Kindle Leather cover comes in at number three. It is exactly the same as the review above, except without the light. Priced at $40, they are charging you $20 more for the convenience of having a light built in, which we feel is worth it. Not having to deal with batteries or a clip on light is worth $20, compared to $10 or so for a clip on light. If you want an official Amazon cover, we recommend the one above, but if you want this one, click HERE
*video edit* The Kindle wasn’t completely snapped in, which is why it looks like we are having trouble closing it.
JKase Custom Fit Folio Leather Case
| Overall | Design/Functionality | Quality | Price | Attraction |
|---|---|---|---|---|
The JKase Custom Fit Folio for the Kindle is the cheapest on the list at $8… don’t fall in love with the price so fast! A few design flaws take away from what could have been the #1 rated cover on this page. First, the page turning keys are somewhat blocked by the cover itself. While you still can reach them, they certainly don’t make it easy. Also, the Kindle is “secured” in by a flap at the top (watch video) which isn’t velcroed or magnetized in any way. The quality of the cover is pretty good, and the price is so low, that if you really want to save money, you can go with this option, we just don’t recommend it given these flaws. Check it out yourself by clicking HERE
*edit* They recently updated this cover, but from the pictures, it is impossible to tell if they helped fix the page turning flaw. However, we will update this again when we hear from JKase.
The reviews on this page took a very long time. No other website brings you such accurate, and as much as possible, unbiased reviews. The two most expensive covers are listed on the bottom, so clearly we are just sending you towards what we think are the best covers. We also have several different manufactures listed here, so there is no bias there either. Give us a shout-out on any kind of social media, we appreciate it!
