Subject: Our Place

Hi everyone!

We were preparing for y2k in earnest so drove all over our state. We
did our very best to move to Colorado and even New Zealand first.
Nothing would work no matter how hard we tried. So, we planned to
stay here and drove and drove.

We were in a particular area and at the same time my husband and I
looked at each other and said this is the place! Drove around more
and got lost, found the land we live on now by accident and built
here. When y2k didn't pan out we were pretty confused--we really,
really studied.

We jokingly said it wouldn't be too long before we found another good
disaster to prepare for--thought it might be biological stuff. Then
we discovered PX--doesn't matter what the current disaster is--the
preparation is all the same.

We just had the strongest feeling to be here. After we moved here we
found our neighbor had an overwhelming thought that they should be
here. Then met the next neighbor and she confided in me that she
was "driven" to come here--why, she didn't know. Of course, the
couple that built down the road from them felt the same "feelings".

We've learned a lot over the past 3 years--studying food drying,
alternative health care, animal care, and just plain planning on
living a good, long life no matter what happens. We are putting the
root cellar in this year. We'll get the largest we can afford for
the squashes, carrots and us. We needed one anyway.

Take a deep breath, everyone. I wonder how much all of our
collective thoughts and energy can affect the severity of PX? I
understand deep inside my heart that our world "needs" a cleansing--
of our hearts, minds and souls--

Anyway, we are simply planning to survive and help those around us.

Our best as you prepare.

Peggy
