A complete study of the ZetaTalk subject would not be complete without an attempt to catalog and detail the involvement of the individuals behind the scenes who help to fuel the grand conspiracy. ZetaTalk Players is not merely referring to the readership or believers of the grand conspiracy. ZetaTalk Players is an accounting of the individuals, without whose involvement, the word ZetaTalk would be unknown. Nancy Lieder's biography is, of course, already accorded its own page. This list is by no means complete and will be expanded as information becomes known. "Missionaries" who continuously promoted the grand conspiracy theory in various usenet newsgroups, IRC channels and web forums are also listed.

David Storoy
Email : dstoroy@rl.telia.no History : David Storoy first appeared in the newsgroup sci.astro on September 19, 1999. His first posting of pro-ZetaTalk material on the usenet occurred on June 9, 1999 in the newsgroup no.kultur.folklore.ufo -- in Norwegian, of course. Storoy's interests include Star Wars, alien visitations, and a rather pronounced obsession with Native American "shamanism". Although, Storoy seems to know very little about the Native American "tribes" he claims to have studied. Storoy will vigorously defend any and every utterance of Nancy Lieder -- beyond all logic or common sense. A Sample Of David Storoy "Wisdom" : "Of course I know that aliens altered her brain. Gerard Zwaan
Email : gerard@euronet.nl History : On March 3, 1995 Zwaan posts a message in the newsgroup alt.alien.visitors asking for anyone who may be a contactee of the Zeta Reticulans to email him. He states that he wanted to know "what they have to say". Between May and July of 1995 Zwaan is mercilessly spamming the sci.astro newsgroup begging any and all astronomers to visit the ZetaTalk website to read about Planet X. On August 19, 1995 Zwaan made his last ZetaTalk posting to sci.astro. On November 11, 1997 Zwaan makes his next post to the .nl newsgroups to declare some ZetaTalk material. In the midst of 1998 Zwaan again gives up his ZetaTalk postings and drops out of newgroup sight. Zwaan's next postings come in 2000 and concern only mundane computer hardware related postings to the .nl newsgroups. Zwaan was a member of the Troubled Times team and Yahoo forums from their beginnings. He is often seen on the Yahoo group tt-watch reminding everyone when the next Zetatalk IRC chat will occurr. As moderator of #zetatalk and #troubled_times on IRC he is known by the handle "obany". Gerard Zwaan is also an interesting aspect of the ZetaTalk phenomena, in that he was perhaps the first true believer in the words of Nancy Lieder. In fact, several personal accounts have stated Zwaan is responsible for the majority of what ZetaTalk contained upon its webpages when it debuted in 1995. From what has been told of the time from well connected sources, Zwaan peppered Lieder with a multitude of paranormal "what if" questions in private communication which resulted in the "core" of 1995 Zetatalk.com. It has also been stated from close sources that Zwaan's personal identity is very much fixated upon the "reality" that Lieder has spun under the name of her Zetas. His emotional commitment to the "cause" is near fully invested, making it perhaps impossible to do anything but ride the proverbial wave until its inevitable crash. Update (05/23/03) : Zwaan has now declared Nancy to be wrong and ZetaTalk to be bunk. |

Jan Rypdal
Email : jr@entarc.no History : Jan first seems to appear May 30 2001 in defense of Josx (former Troubled Times member) on the newsgroup sci.astro. Jan is a frequent poster on sci.astro and is part of Nancy Lieder's "inner circle". Jan is a moderator of the tt-watch Yahoo group and is responsible for banning "disrupters" (those with questions or ideas critical of Nancy or ZetaTalk) from the forum. See also : TT-Watch Coup. Jan is incredibly careful that no one obtain his email address under any circumstances. In September 1998 Clipper is seen redundantly posting Zetatalk material in multiple unrelated newsgroups as reply/answers to all range of subjects. It is evident from the pattern of newsgroup postings that Clipper is a total believer in ZetaTalk. Clipper quotes material from the ZetaTalk website in answer to nearly every discussion he encounters. The obsessed preacher thumping on his alien bible. A small sample of Clipper's "wisdom" : "We have in fact, been called "COSTITUTIONALISTS" by these people. What would that be anyway? Someone who believes in the Constitution of the United States, the real one and not the one that has been re-written for the benefit of those who wish to prosper off others. Someone who knows there are TWO Unites States, the United States and the Continental United States? We are the Continental United States. Milly Gumper
Email: milly@webtv.net History : Milly first appears on the usenet newsgroup alt.conspiracy.princess-diana on September 08, 1997. She then is seen on sci.astro on April 02, 1998 making it known to all readers that she is a complete believer in the Zetas and their material (see below). On December 28, 1999 Milly is found on the group alt.astrology posting ZetaTalk material and attempting to convert others to the "cause". As evidenced on November 04, 2001 Milly spends her non-ZetaTalk time pondering the fascinating details of the tv show "survivor" on the group alt.tv.survivor. Milly is within Nancy Lieder's "inner circle" with Jan Rypdal. This may have much to do with her monetary contributions to the Troubled Times "seed team". She was also a key player in the "coup" on TT-Watch and is jointly responsible with Jan for quashing all dissent on the message board. A small sample of Milly's "wisdom" : "The Zetas are more advanced, more knowledgeable, and their theories me sense to me, so I'd rather read Zetatalk than an astronomy textbook that is already out of date or soon will be. I'll bet your own theories will be matching theirs more and more, as your knowledge catches up to theirs" |

Jos Boersema (a.k.a. JosX)
Email: joshb@mraha.kitenet.net History : JosX first newsgroup post seems to be on April 5 2000 in comp.lang.c. Most of his posts of the time were within computer programming and linux newsgroups. Then in March 28 2001 JosX is suddenly in alt.alien.visitors making arguments about big bang theory. On April 5, 2001 he makes his first comment concerning ZetaTalk by posting that he had just "found a cool site". The rest is history. JosX became a total believer in Nancy Lieder's message and defended her endlessly in sci.astro. He then went off on his own in sci.astro to pronounce science as a failed religion and state his deliberate unwillingness to try and learn math or physics -- yet claimed loudly that he could prove there was no such thing as "escape velocity". After Sep 11, 2001 JosX postings became more disturbed and incoherant. He rambled on in several newsgroups about the evil and nazi-like ways of the United States. Shortly afterwards, JosX created a final disturbance in sci.astro by questioning the flow of money within Troubled Times Inc. and posting a reply he received by email from Nancy proclaiming how broke she was. He was then banned from tt-watch. Aug. 2002 update : JosX has returned to sci.astro, among other newsgroups. It appears he has given up on his "escape velocity" obsession and is now fascinated by his own "special relativity theory". And ... it seems he has a few fans. A sample of JosX "wisdom" : "You are not even a democracy: you need "observers" at your elections and they will verdict "manipulated" when they were allowed. You have killed your elected president (JFK), and your highest justice department has clearly shown to be corrupt (coup of GWB). You don't give a damn about your poor and your religion is "what i get that i keep, and tommorow more" (making `carreer', the Amerikan dream of getting filthy rich as quick as possible)." |

Steve Havas
Email: shavas7@hotmail.com History : Steve Havas first posted to the sci.astro newsgroup on April 19, 2001 shortly after Nancy Lieder identified him as making a valid first sighting of Planet X from Vancouver, B.C.. It was quite apparent to the non-Zeta believing readership of sci.astro that he was lying about his sighting. This based upon his description of his supposed sighting compared with Nancy Lieder's previous statements concerning Planet X's location and it's size/mass. Havas is the primary "witness" Nancy trotts out in an attempt to forge an astronomical "validation" of her claims. A sample of Steve Havas "wisdom" : "Nancy and her Zeta's poke holes everywhere with comet Hale-Bob and man's current understanding of space, time, gravity etc. etc. She actually caused quite a stir with some persons and recieved a lot of hate responses and people trying to discredit her - but she always came out on top!" |

He appears often on Funnet IRC channel #troubled_times and was an occasional operator on #zetatalk during the weekly ZetaTalk IRC sessions. Sean ran the website www.wagd.com from Internet Communications Corp. where he used to work and also the IRC bot "grimbot". Sean has been tapped by Nancy to replace an out-going Troubled Times, Inc. member in the role of server admin. of the groups servers. Thomas Garrett Trobaugh (a.k.a. samsara2001, a.k.a. samsara2003)
Email : samsara2003@earthlink.net, samsara2003@hotmail.com History : The person known most often as Garret on the sci.astro newsgroup and Samsara2003 on Nancy Lieder's tt-watch yahoo group has declared his total belief in the apocalyptic scenario described on ZetaTalk. Garrett is first seen on the newsgroup microsoft.public.win98.gen_discussion on May 30, 1999 asking for assistance with the microsoft fax program. Garrett is next found on alt.folklore.urban on June 7, 1999 asking about actress Julia Robert's panties (no joke). Garrett is then found on June 10, 1999 in sci.physics.particle asking for information concerning "element 116/118" (apparently Garrett stumbled upon the Bob Lazar material rather late in the game). Garrett is next found in various computer hardware newsgroups between August 1999 and February 2000 discussing various computer hardware issues. Garrett's newsgroup activity seems to have completely ceased until March 7, 2001 when he posts to alt.support.schizophrenia revealing that "I am going in for a professional diagnosis of Schizophrenia, as my phycoanalyst thinks (as do I), think that I am schizoid". From this point until the present, Garrett, has spent his newsgroup time spouting the material of ZetaTalk and shouting about the coming apocalypse to several newsgroups --including alt.apocalypse, alt.bible, alt.bible.prophecy, alt.christnet, alt.fan.art-bell, alt.religion, alt.religion.christian.baptist, alt.relgion.mormon. Garrett currently runs his pro-ZetaTalk and Ra Material website at www.samsara2003.com The latest information is that Garrett resides in Milwaukee, Wisconsin A sample of Garrett's "wisdom" : ..."Part of the problem with humanity is that you do not see any further than your small minds can grasp. He broke all previous newsgroup records by being nominated for the informal award of "Kook-Of-The-Month" in the newsgroup alt.usenet.kooks by way of his unpredictable and non-logical "debate" tactics. Dell did win both the "Victor Von Frankenstein Weird Science Award" and the "Clueless Newbie of the Month" awards, both for October 2002. He is best known in sci.astro for spouting child-like insults at amateur astronomers who rationally attempt to refute the Planet X hysteria. Against all advice, Dell insisted on embarrassing himself by publishing his total ignorance of science and astronomy on his website. Dell has been trotted out by Nancy Lieder to supplement the effort to promote the fraudulent imaging of her nonexistant Planet X (see also : Steve Havas). Like Havas, Dell also resides in British Colombia. Dell bought the domain www.zetabc.com to establish yet another mirror for Lieder's website and quite possibly with the intention of establishing further good grace with his "alien emissary". Dell owns the Jakaby Development Corporation, which seems to have no publicly stated purpose. Victoria Ridout
Email : queenvee59@hotmail.com, vridout@sympatico.ca (old) History : Ridout first appeared on the #troubled_times IRC channel on FunNet under the handle "QueenVee". Ridout is a devout believer in Nancy Lieder and the written words of ZetaTalk, and is often seen quoting passages from her new-age messiah to IRC new comers. Initially, Ridout made quite a nuisance of herself in #troubled_times by attacking anyone who dared to question the wisdom of Nancy Lieder and her "zetas". Ridout fondly refers to herself as the "debunker buster". Not satisfied with the permission of open debate in #troubled_times, Ridout created her own FunNet channel called #poleshiftdiscussion, in which all talk of the validity of ZetaTalk is forbidden. In Ridout's channel the only allowed topic is preparation for the coming apocalypse. Shortly after creating her new channel, Ridout began openly recruiting members from #troubled_times to join in her new online cult of true believers. After Nancy's loss of control during her ZetaTalk IRC session of 10/12/02 Ridout convinced Nancy to hold a secondary "Special ZetaTalk Session" in her IRC channel. A session free from any hard questions, during which Nancy would be free to give her followers their needed mental "reinforcements". There has been rumor that the person known on IRC as "QueenVee" was Regina Cephas, due to the original announcement by Nancy which referred to her as "Regina". (No confirmation, however). Under the QueenVee handle, Ridout appears regularly on the various Troubled_Times Yahoo groups, such as tt-watch and tt-canada. Her weekly announcements of the special IRC sessions are the norm. Ridout also created the site "Shift2003 Countdown" to futher manage her cult members. Ridout has also offered her writing and editing services to Nancy Lieder and has produced at least one "Session" from the "Zetas". Various accounts from IRC participants claim that she is a middle-aged woman, twice divorced and living with her mom.
