<Pott> There would probably be a few fragments but if you didn't know what your looking for you would not find it.
<Jeremy> If meteors are big enough to make it down thru the atmosphere, then provided they are big enough, make an impact crater on the ground
<Jeremy> Otherwise they burn up, or just land as meteorites
<Pott> Jeremy: Most asteroids don't make it to the ground.

<Pott> Jeremy: Even an asteroid the size of a house won't make it to the ground those usually blow themselves up before they get there.
